Evaluation Manager
Reporting to the Manager Geology your mandate will be to provide strategic planning, coordination and direction to the overall resource modeling and reconciliation activities of the mine
You will be responsible for advising on resource estimation and grade control modeling requirements and strategies to the exploration and mining geologists while ensuring best practices is implemented and adhered to in resource estimation, classification, assaying sampling ,drilling ,data base management and quality control initiatives..
We require at least ten years related evaluation experience combined with a Bsc. in Geology.
You will have experience in identifying what is needed to properly coordinate the grade control and estimation process along with the ability to pass this knowledge on in a clear manner to the appropriate sectors. In addition, strong planning and effective cost control experience is essential in order to meet the goals and objectives required. The ability to speak French would be a definite asset
