Exploration Manager
Responsibilities will include the management of a major exploration programme including geophysical, geometrical, geological and drilling activities while ensuring all initiatives comply with AngloGold Ashanti’s strict environmental and safety standards.
Along with a Bsc. in Geology with possible post graduate qualification you will have a minimum of ten years experience in exploration with a dominant portion of this experience in Greenstone hosting gold terrains. Knowledge of the GIS package preferably Arcview is essential along with advanced geochemical and geophysical exploration techniques and knowledge of RC drilling.
You have in-depth experience regarding discovery and development of regional mine resources as well as implementing effective guidelines, standards and procedures. Along with this you have proven experience in implementing budget and cost controls plus superior interpersonal and management skills.
